Websites for Research into the Water Cycle

Below I have listed some of the websites you can visit to find information for your project on the Water Cycle.  Just click on a link to be taken to the site.

This is a diagram of the Water Cycle and an explanation of the various terms describing the process.

Here is an animated explanation of the Water Cycle.

4. US Geological Survey

This site has a diagram of the Water Cycle showing how water is distributed and how the cycle works.  There are also links at the bottom of the page for activities you can do to investigate the Water Cycle.

Here you will find a detailed diagram of the Water Cycle.

6. You Tube

This video gives an explanation and animation to demonstrate how the water cycle works and why it is a cycle.

7. Think Quest

Besides discussing how the Water Cycle occurs, this site explains the importance of that cycle.
